Extruded coated activated carbon cartridge – CE series

CE carbon cartridges can be used to remove halogenated organic substances, trihalomethanes, pesticides, herbicides and chlorine from water.

The unwanted substances contained in the water are adsorbed by the activated carbon, which also has the ability to promote (catalyse) the reduction reactions of free chlorine present in the water, resulting in the loss of odorous properties.

Activated carbon is subject to progressive saturation, which then requires replacement.

For containers with ¾‘ and 1’ connections, CE cartridges are available in the DOE (double opened end) version.
