Coated granular activated carbon cartridge – CA series

CA carbon cartridges can be used to remove halogenated organic substances, trihalomethanes, pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine from water.

Unwanted substances contained in water are adsorbed by activated carbon, which also has the ability to promote (catalyse) the reduction reactions of free chlorine present in water, resulting in the loss of odour properties.

The activated carbon used is a single block obtained through an extrusion process starting from carbon powder derived from coconut shells.

Activated carbon is subject to progressive saturation, which then requires its replacement.

For containers with ¾” and 1” connections, CA cartridges are available in the DOE (double opened end) version.
